Synchronizer 2.0 Released
On February 27 the new version of Synchronizer has been released. The synchroniser will enable you to synchronize files between to directories on a computer. Allowing you to work on two different stations with the same files, or just create back-ups at regular intervals. Now with version 2.0 we have improved efficiency even more, dropping the need for the standard libraries of C . To make the program even more robust.
To get all the options that the tool can be started with just execute it in a command-window and you will get all the starting parameters. For more speed you can choose to use the -m option to enable multithreading. To use both way synchronisation also use the -f option. (currently not available in version 2.0a)
Please note that this release is still far from being a final version. Though it is stable enough to release it to the public. We would appreciate any and all bug reports as well as comments on the release so we can improve it even further.
We are currently also hoping for some input for the next release of Synchronizer, namely version 3. If you have any feature request for this new version then please sent them in. We will select the most requested features and add them to the list of tasks.

Jong Soft recently started looking into the possibility to create an application to store and download cooking recipes. There are already plenty of sources out on the internet to get recipes, so why build another tool to access recipes. Well the reason is simple, we found out that even though there are a lot of websites providing cooking recipes there are only a few applications providing recipes offline.
That is where Jong Soft will help the cooking fanatic. We will build an application that you install on your computer. This application will then provide you access to recipies, ingredients and other cooking related information. Because we know you won't always be behind your computer we are also looking into building smaller versions for mobile phones and PDA's.
We have a pretty good idea as to what a cooking fanatic would want. But if you think you can contribute by telling us what you are looking for in a cooking aid then feel free to contact us at recipe.magician@jong-soft.com with your ideas.
